Child and Adult Protection Statement
Eastbourne Grace Baptist Church seeks to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry is expressed through the weekly preaching of the Gospel and in outreach work among children, and the elderly as directed by Holy Scripture.
Every person has a value and dignity which comes directly from the creation of male and female in God’s image and likeness (Genesis chapter 1 verse 27). Among other things this implies a duty to value all people as bearing the image of God and therefore to protect them from harm when involved in our outreach work.
These beliefs underpin our Safeguarding Policy, a copy of which can be provided on request.
