What to expect

You can expect a warm welcome at any of our services. 

Sunday Services 

Our Sunday services seek to be simple, reverent and joyful. We offer praise to God in song, singing a range of hymns from church history. We spend time praying for the life of the church and interceding for the town, nation and world. 

The preaching and exposition of scripture is central to all our services, and we ensure that we give adequate time to this. 

You can expect the service to last about 1 hour and 15 mins. 

We provide hymn books and bibles, however should you wish to bring your own, we use the New King James Version of the bible as we believe it is based on the most reliable manuscripts. 

There is no expected dress code, so do come as you are. You will find some who dress more formally, and others who dressed more casual. 

Thursday Bible Study and prayer meeting 

We meet at 7.30pm on Thursdays for our bible study. This will be between 30-45 minutes. The rest of the meeting will be devoted to prayer. The meeting finishes around 9pm. 

The Lords Supper 

We believe the scriptures teach that the supper is for those who have professed with in the Lord Jesus Christ by baptism and are in fellowship with a church of the same persuasion. If visitors wish to participate we would encourage you to talk to our pastor prior to attending. 

We meet for communion on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, prior to our evening service.
